First off, great job for those who ran the BTC MS Open on Thursday and a huge thank you for those who volunteered. The 2.2 mile course was challenging and the athletes all rose to the occasion! Although we have roughly 4 weeks and only two meets remaining, we have a lot of upcoming activities that should be fun.

Weekly Update - 10/6/2019

Once again, the boys and girls teams showed up and performed well on Saturday in Butte. The weather couldn’t decide between sun and snow, so we got a little of both. The girls’ team was incredibly strong and nearly swept the meet with a score of 17! The boys’ team also had some fantastic performances and took first with a score of 47. We will have a weekend off (no meet) this week.

Friday night we’ll have dinner at the hotel at the conference room for those interested. The race is Saturday morning before the high school races. Bozeman High School will be making the trip as well with many kids running as they try to qualify for Nike Nationals. We are working on a hotel room-block and will send that along with more details next week.

Volunteer Signup

It looks like most spots have been filled on the signup. Thank you all for your help and willingness to contribute! We may need additional help at our home meet on Thursday, October 17th. I’ll update that information in next week’s update.

Weekly Update - 9/29/2019

We got lucky and the weather held out for the Mountain West Classic. It was great to see everyone compete! The boys placed second out of 27 teams and 352 runners. The girls took home the gold with 20 teams and 320 runners. Congrats to both teams!

Volunteer Signup

Thanks to those who have volunteered to help out! It looks like we are covered for the next two meets, but we will need help if anyone is available on Thursday, October 17th. The race is early (3 pm’ish), so we know volunteers will be difficult since it is during the workday. If you are available, please sign up!

Weekly Update - 9/15/2019

Congrats to those who competed at the Bozeman Invite yesterday. The delay was both good and bad, but at least the temps dropped a little for our races. Both teams (boys and girls) placed first in the field of 12 teams. Great job! It was quite the sight to see such a big team of great kids at the start line. Each person on the team is important to the whole group and everyone runs better with more teammates around them.

Volunteer Signup

The Signup Genius for volunteering will be sent out each week. With parents willing to step in, the coaches can coach without logistics interruptions. There are still open spots to help at Dillon, so please take a moment to sign up!

Parent Page

Don’t forget to stop by the parent page. There is a lot of great info available there!
